Real-time obstacle detection
Using a combination of cameras and advanced sensors, the MK30 scans its environment to identify potential obstacles such as people, pets, vehicles, trees, power lines, and other aircraft.
Safety-first collision avoidance
If the drone detects an obstacle in its path, it automatically adjusts. If it detects a hazard at the delivery location, it will not deliver, and will return to the Prime Air drone delivery center.
Precision from launch to landing
Our drone is designed to fly and land safely. Our flight planning systems continually ingests data to maintain real-time awareness of safe flight profiles.

Delivered safely
During a drone delivery, safety always comes first.
The MK30 descends to just 13 feet above the selected delivery point and scans the area for obstacles. The drone does not touch the ground.
If anything isn’t right - a person too close, a pet nearby, an unexpected object - the drone assesses the area and may return to base.
